Liwaxs Granth Records maintains and administers a catalogue comprising master sound recordings, musical compositions, lyrics, artwork, audiovisual materials, metadata and other creative assets associated with its releases and affiliated projects.
Rights in individual works may be held directly by Liwaxs Granth Records, its artists, writers, affiliated imprints, licensors or other authorised rights holders. The precise ownership and administration of a particular work is determined by the applicable recording, publishing, licensing and distribution arrangements.
Nothing on this website should be interpreted as transferring, waiving or granting copyright, trademark, publishing, master recording or other intellectual-property rights unless expressly authorised in writing.
Liwaxs Granth Records recognises and operates within applicable copyright and intellectual-property frameworks, including relevant national legislation and international copyright conventions applicable to the territories in which its catalogue is exploited.
Liwaxs Granth Records utilises digital distribution, metadata administration and rights-management systems through its distribution and technology partners to support the identification and administration of catalogue assets.
Where supported by the relevant platform or service, catalogue recordings may be registered with content-identification, fingerprinting, rights-management or automated matching systems.
These systems may assist with the identification of unauthorised uses across participating digital platforms and user-generated-content services.

The availability and operation of particular identification or enforcement systems may vary by platform, territory, rights configuration and applicable third-party policies.
Unless expressly authorised by the relevant rights holder, licence or applicable law, the following uses of protected catalogue material may constitute an infringement of copyright or other applicable rights:
Unauthorised redistribution or commercial exploitation of master recordings;
Re-uploading protected recordings to third-party platforms;
Unlicensed synchronisation of recordings or compositions with visual media;
Unauthorised commercial sampling or incorporation of protected material;
Unlicensed modification, adaptation or derivative exploitation;
Unauthorised use of artwork, logos, trademarks or other protected visual assets;
Misrepresentation of catalogue material as being owned, released or controlled by another person or entity.
This includes altered or derivative versions of recordings where the underlying use is not otherwise authorised, including edits, remixes, slowed or sped-up versions and other transformations.
Certain uses may nevertheless be permitted under applicable law, platform policies, statutory exceptions or an express licence. Where there is uncertainty regarding a proposed use, rights clearance should be obtained before exploitation.
Distribution of a recording through RouteNote or another authorised distributor does not place the underlying recording or composition into the public domain.
Digital availability provides access to the authorised release through the applicable platform. It does not, by itself, grant permission to reproduce, redistribute, commercially exploit, synchronise, sample, modify or otherwise exploit the underlying intellectual property.
Catalogue identifiers, metadata and release information should remain accurate and consistent across authorised distribution channels.
Unauthorised alteration of release metadata, artist attribution, catalogue identifiers or ownership information may be subject to investigation and appropriate rights-management action.
Where an unauthorised use of catalogue material is identified, Liwaxs Granth Records or the applicable rights administrator may pursue available remedies through the relevant platform, distributor, rights-management service or legal process.
Depending on the circumstances, available measures may include:
Copyright claims
Content monetisation or revenue allocation
Removal or restriction of unauthorised material
Platform-level infringement notices
DMCA or equivalent statutory notices
Formal rights correspondence
Further legal remedies where appropriate
The specific remedy pursued will depend on the nature of the use, the applicable rights, the relevant territory, platform procedures and the evidence available.
No particular enforcement action is guaranteed in every case.
The use of protected recordings, stems, vocal performances, instrumental elements or other identifiable portions of catalogue material may require prior permission from the relevant rights holders.
This may include, depending on the circumstances:
Commercial sampling;
Unofficial remixes;
Bootlegs;
Mashups;
Vocal or instrumental extracts;
Derivative recordings;
Commercial edits;
Synchronised adaptations.
The creation of a derivative version does not automatically transfer or extinguish rights in the underlying recording or composition.
Formal clearance should be obtained before commercially releasing material incorporating protected catalogue assets.
Liwaxs Granth Records may consider licensing requests involving the use of its catalogue in:
Film & Television
Advertising
Gaming
Online Video
Social Media Campaigns
Documentary Projects
Commercial Media
Other Audiovisual Productions
Depending on the proposed use, separate clearance may be required for the master recording and the underlying musical composition.
A request for catalogue use does not constitute a licence. No rights are granted until the applicable terms have been reviewed, agreed and formally documented by the authorised parties.
Accurate metadata is an essential part of catalogue administration.
Unauthorised alteration or misrepresentation of:
Artist names;
Track titles;
Release titles;
ISRCs;
UPCs;
Label or imprint information;
Writer and producer credits;
Copyright information;
Ownership information;
may interfere with rights administration and digital distribution.
Where material discrepancies are identified, Liwaxs Granth Records may request corrections through the relevant distributor, platform or rights-management channel.
Verbal discussions, social-media messages, informal correspondence or general expressions of permission do not by themselves constitute a formal commercial licence unless expressly recognised as legally binding under the applicable agreement.
Any authorised commercial exploitation of catalogue material should be supported by appropriate written documentation identifying, where relevant:
The licensed work
Permitted use
Territory
Term
Media / formats
Exclusivity
Commercial consideration
Applicable rights and restrictions
The absence of a formal licence should not be interpreted as permission to use protected material.
